Duffle is a very small duck - so small that the other ducks laugh at him. "A duck so small can do nothing at all," they jeer and it seems as though they are right, for everything poor Duffle attempts to do ends in disaster. This book is one of my daughter's favorites. The libraries don't carry this in my city anymore, so we had to order it here on Amazon. (We first discovered it in my daughter's daycare program from their library, and she kept checking it out. lol) I bought this for her 5th birthday and it remains a favorite.
Other, bigger ducks make fun of our small duck and he gets picked on throughout the book. until... he realizes how being small can actually be a good thing and helps rescue another animal. Then, of course, the bigger ducks like him and he becomes the hero.
