Congratulations Inge on a wonderful collection of stories from life on the farm! I too have had a life in the country and can relate to your experiences. I too raised ducks and chickens, but as a child. Your heartwarming stories are obviously from the heart. I particularly liked the 'Window Box' and the
'Secret Garden'. My husband has just started reading the book and is also enamoured with it.Jeanette Lehmann.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is a collection of many enchanting short stories that are full of love, joy and humor. I like the variety of subjects the author wrote from the joys of country life to the encounters with nature and animals. The stories are filled with feeling and personal experiences. I find the stories so real and very easy to relate to. They are uplifting and encouraging. For those who have children or pets, this is a must read book. Annie
