This book is my FAVORITE book on raising day old ducklings and geese for pets and for pure pleasure. Mr. Luttmann adds lots of humor with good advice on duck care. He also covers pond building for your ducks and geese as well. One I highly recommend. The only drawback I can see with this book is it doesn't go into duck or geese breeds. I would suggest pairing this book with another raising duck/geese guide. You can find this one on Ebay usually for a very reasonable price."

This is a great book to have on your shelf if you are raising ducks. I have this and _Raising the Home Duck Flock_. Both have similar advice, so it's nice to see the info reinforced.

I really learned how much luck I have had over the last 6 years just winging it with my ducks and geese. Now I hope to provide the care my birds need so they have a great quality of life. The book reads real fast but is full of information tied to a memorable sense of humor to aid in recall of same. The various charts were a real bonus as they consoladated key information in a quick access location.
