4.0 out of 5 stars Great book for people who miss Due South, August 16, 2003

This review is from: Due South: an Invitation to Romance (Due South) (Due South Guides) (Paperback)
AN INVITATION TO ROMANCE
When the Canadian Consul in Chicago asks Mountie Constable Benton Fraser to hand deliver an invitation to a reception, he wasn't to know that the recipient would accuse Benton of having an affair with his fiance. But then things are never what they seem to Benton, the Mountie from Canada's icy wastes who is now based permanently in the wilds of inner city Chicago.

This story line however is only the first part of the book as it incorporates two episodes into the one book. For Due South fans they are AN INVITATION TO ROMANCE and THE GIFT OF THE WHEELMAN.
There were some great funny lines and situations in the book, especially one which has Benton hiding under the wedding dress of a woman, when his father decides to turn up as well.

This book is great for any fans of Due South, who like me have not seen the show in some time. Throughout the book it even describes Dief's feelings, which I found quite humorous.

If you can get this book, you won't be sorry.
