GEORGE GLENN JONES was born in 1931 in the East Texas town of Saratoga. As a kid he sang for tips on the streets of nearby Beaumont. By age 24, he had been married twice, served in the Marines and was a veteran of the Texas honky-tonk circuit. Always found that Country Music Duets are really great and this one is definately no exception, I even remember the first one I heard, Jim Reeves and Patsy cline - digitally done, but very well done, I remember Porter Waggoner from his early days with Dolly Parton back in the sixties, although George and Tammy are my favourites and they are on this Cd, well worth the money, even a used one.
