flimsy January 12, 2008
This bag held my 9-foot tree alright, but when I tried to carry it, one of the canvas handles tore off. Quite a deal-killer, considering there was a $300 tree in there. Perhaps when they say "holds up to a 9-foot tree", they are thinking of a really cheap lightweight tree that is not pre-lit. I have the "option" of returning it in the box, and paying the shipping myself, or just getting another one just like it. I don't want to go to the trouble of leaving the tree out to wait for the other bag, then reloading it, yet the shipping will be almost as much as I paid for the bag. What a disappointment!

Shoddy January 11, 2009
We placed our 9 foot tree (in the 3 separate pieces) inside this bag. Had plenty of room. My husband and I picked it up by the handles and the end handle completely ripped off with little effort. At the same time, the zipper broke. We just stood there hardly believing what just happened. I am going to try and contact this company and tell them how sadly disappointed we are in their product. I checked the pkg. and there is no weight limit. The pkg. does say that it holds up to a 9 foot tree.

Good bag, rotten stitching January 15, 2009
It's hard to find a decent bag to hold a nine foot Christmas Tree, but this one did the trick quite well, with room to spare. The bag, itself, is great. It's tear-resistant, and roomy.

The bag comes with heavy-duty aluminum handles on the top, and one on the side (one assumes for dragging the bag across floors.) These are great, and a perfect size. Don't let the handles fool you though, as they're only as good as the stitching that holds them in. I got my tree all zipped up and grabbed the end handle to move it across my wood floor. The seam ripped, and the handle is now completely useless. Double stitching and a canvass reinforced base would have been a good thing -- not the single stitched, low-gauge thread attached directly to the bag that they used, instead.

If you just want a bag, this will work, but don't rely on those handles.

Well made.
I purchased two of these bags. Happy with the quality of the fabric and the construction. Will the bag hold a large tree? No. Does it hold a 4 foot tree...yes. Read more

Good.
I have had this bag for 2 years now and it's extra big for my 7' tree. I didn't want a bag that my tree barely fit in. It's been very durable for the past 2 years.

Cheap Bag
The quality of the bag is not very good and it was not delivered in a timely manner either. When I inserted the Christmas tree into the bag, the stem poked a hole through the bag. Read more

Large Christmas Tree Tote
This product description is somewhat misleading. We purchased it for a 7' tall tree and, disassembled, the tree barely fit into the bag. Read more

worth buying
I read the other reviews thinking this storage would be just right for my 7' tree, but it had way more room to add extra xmas decor. It'z durable and recommendable to buy.
