basically this cd is the upgrade patch from the original duke 3d 1.3R cd to 1.4 atomic. if you have the atomic edition do not buy this. if you have the 1.3 cd buy this and you get episode 4 also download from 3dr the 1.5 patch and dosbox to run this game in win xp and vista.

The Plutonium Pack is really an "upgrade pack" to turn the original version of Duke Nukem 3D into the "Atomic Edition" version. If you can buy the Atomic Edition, just do that. But if you can't... and can get the original release... this will permit you to run the full, final version of the game. (FYI, this is how I got the game set).

There are some new items and capabilities in the "Atomic Edition." And it definitely works better than the first release.

But if you buy this on its own, you won't have a game at all.
