I,ve seen Duke and the Pleasure Kings play in person and I believe that he did his best work with the Pleasure Kings,Tom De Quattro on drums and Tom Enright on bass.They were the biggest little band by far. I believe that their collaboration is greatly missed. Duke is a superb guitarist and Tom De Quattro and Tom Enright just brings out the best in Duke. Tom De Quattros drumming style is a reminder of Buddy Rich and he and Tom Enright are magic together.

I must say that Duke's Mood is one of the finest instrumental guitar blues songs ever recorded- bar none. It is essential listening for blues enthusisasts. If only a tenth of the music one hears would be as soulful as the Duke..
