I bought this for the 12-year old next door who is a huge Carolina fan. While he is not an avid reader, he was so excited by this gift, he immediately read the first chapter the night he got this. Great gift!!

How could you not love it? As a devout Tar Heel, this book is confirmation that dook does, in fact, suck.

Tucker and Bagwell deserve our appreciation for distilling the many reasons to despise Duke into this tight little volume, building such a soundly researched, academically honest, thoroughly unbiased, and convincing case against Ratface and his minions. It had me erupting in fits of giggling throughout. Incidentally, my undergraduate degree is from neither UNC nor Duke but from tiny Davidson College, like Duke a private college, but unlike Duke, one where the students recognize the pretentiousness and conceit that infect that rich Gothic campus. It's a campus I know, having briefly taught there for awhile a decade or so ago. One must forgive the mistakes of youth.
