I have used numerous cage traps for raccoons, fox and skunk. This one is surprisingly sturdy. The trigger mechanism is sturdy, easy to set and senstive. Very easy to release the animal with minimal stress to the animal and myself by rolling the trap upside down and the door unlocks and opens. I don't believe there is a good way to move or release a skunk though.
