I was expecting the next novel in the Joe Pickett series and got this lame short story. I feel cheated out of $3. Shame on amazon for not disclosing to kindle users this is a short piece, and shame on Box for the castoff trash writing that doesn't even track with the series. Boooooooo! What a disappointment! The deception on amazon's part calls for a refund. Cavaet emptor, eh?

I am still wondering if the downloading was cut short. This is not a short story its not even a chapter.
I was not expecting a continuation of the usual Joe Pickett novels, I was expecting a story, not what seems to be a discarded few pages from a book. Amazon should have made this clear, not worth the money, but what there is is well written.

Absolutely agree that anyone who was hornswoggled into buying this has been cheated. Seems a bit of an anomaly for Amazon, but there may be more to the story, if they are willing to inform us.
