Excellent NOT EXPLICIT album! Power pop!, March 31, 2010
I don't know how Amazon determined this album is [Explicit], but it is so far from it. The songs are power rock pop, with hooky melodies, and fun lyrics. How can a Mullet be explicit? To quote a lyric, calling it "a Tennessee mud flap on your back" is just over the top.
This may sound odd, but this album is one of the few I can paint the walls of a room to. Collective Soul also belongs in that same category for me. It keeps you going, without being boring. After you get hooked on the melodies, you start listening to the lyrics and realize how brilliant they are.
These guys have been compared to the Cars. But, I would say more like a pop version of Cheap Trick; or, Styx if Tommy had way more influence and Dennis never played keyboards.
Don't take my word for it. Read these other professional reviews:
