This movie is hillarious whats up with you people.Its funny specially the part when bob saget says "My house is full of S***" This would be the best birthday present.

This film is so dumb its funny, but its supposed to be (didn't you read the title?)-- unlike films that try to be smart and fail. Some of the humor grossed me out the first time I saw it, but its the same gross type of humor that is prevalent today. The actors look and act just like younger versions of the originals -- that was probably worth 4 stars alone.

i actually watched the movie, unlike some of the other reviewers and i enjoyed it a lot, i was excitied to see it and i wasn't disapointed. There is no comparison to the first one but those are hard shoes to fill cause dumb and dumber was one of the top 10 funniest movies of all time.

I personally disagree with all the negative reviews..I went to see the movie yesterday and it was awesome..Also..The if they had the same cast as the 1st movie they would look to old to be in high school..I really think these characters look a good bit like the original cast..So..go see the movie..It's worth it!!

I guess with a title like Dumb and Dumberer I shouldn't have been surprised that the movie was DUMB and kept getting DUMBERER.

I know...? Der? What do you expect. That's what the movie is. Well... at least Dumb and Dumber had some execution. There was setup to the jokes. There was delivery. There was a method to the madness.

Dumb and Dumberer has none of that. There is only one way to describe this movie. One word. RETARDED.

There are two or three funny scenes and with proper execution would have been even funnier. Bob Saget's rant about his bathroom was a stomach hurter, and that's about it. The rest are ridiculous, in the tradition of JACKASS kind of jokes.

There's no story either. It's about... I... I don't remember what it's about. Something about a chest, a school mascot costume and a class for special people.

Okay... I've gotta say something good. The movies deplorable and a waste of time, but Rachel Nichols, who plays Jessica, is the only bright spot in the entire poop splattered mess. She's the movies object of lust and SHE'S the only reason to hit PLAY on your DVD. I hope she gets some more movie rolls because she's sharp and one of the sexiest things to happen to the silver screen in awhile.

Otherwise, walk away... no 'RUN'. No, in fact, go rent DUMB and DUMBER and watch it again. See how humor is supposed to be executed.

I can not believe that any mentally sane person would actually care about this movie or god-forbid sit through the mind-numbingly painful (...) they call the script. Yes, it's that bad. I was praying for the sweet release of death about half way through the movie, and by the end I remember my eyes and ears were almost bleeding because it was that bad. This movie should be called 'retard and retardeder' so the name would describe the movie's fans. Its official; Troy Miller (the director) *can* wreck a good movie. People who see this movie will instantly think that it and the original dumb and dumber were both stupid, when the original one was way better and is one of my ten favorite movies. Yeah, the actors might look like the older Harry and Lloyd, but I didn't notice that during the movie because I vaguely recall passing out from lack of intellectual stimulus in my brain. I admit I laughed at the movie. NOT!! The best part of the movie was when it was over. If the movie had one laugh in it at all, then that laugh would have died of loneliness. At 96 minutes, it was 96 minutes too long.

I'm posting this review not because I want to add another 1 to the rating of Dumb and Dumberer, but rather because I actually had to pay a couple of bucks to rent the movie (don't ask me why, I just had to see why everyone hated it). If you seen this movie, the good news is that you probably would have a hard time seeing worse.

The first Dumb and Dumber was a pretty funny movie, and they didn't have to be so offensive in the process. Jim Carey and Jeff Daniels were able to make the characters work mainly because they had a plot and a knack for taking something and making it humorous. There was enough substance to actually make a scene have a comic effect. It looks like they should have left well enough alone, and forgot the prequel.

I don't know what they were possibly thinking making this film; it failed in every single respect as a comedy. This movie is insulting, shallow, tasteless and unfunny all at the same time. It really lacked much of a plot also, as the idea of the principal choosing these guys to try to form a class is absurd. The movies really had no direction and no hope. The actors who play Lloyd and Harry look pretty much the same as Jeff Daniels and Jim Carey, but the dialogue is amateurish and petty. There is absolutely nothing funny about this movie, and, like me, you may turn the movie off after 30 minutes or so.

I don't say this often about movies, but this one should come with a refund.

Granted, there's NO WAY this is better than the original Dumb and Dumber, which is a classic. But the amount of jokes in the sequel, and the fact I was actually laughing at most of them (obviously ignoring the really dumb ones) I have to admit, I liked it.

Trying to get a storyline out of something like this is really a waste of time. Don't even THINK about caring about any kind of logical story. You're probably not even supposed to care about that. You're supposed to laugh at the jokes, many of which are pretty stupid I admit, but I can't help but laugh when a good joke I happen to find funny appears.

The poo smeared all over the wall scene, the many scenes that involved the two guys constantly deciding whether girls are gross or whether it's cool to think about them naked, or the REALLY dumb scenes that involved the guys going to a store and getting a slurpy. The guy working at the store was the main thing that made these parts funny.

It's just a pretty good movie, but nothing spectacular.

A lot of people don't like this movie because they just compare it to the original Dumb and Dumber and want to see the same actors, but I think it is a funny movie. The casting it very good. The actors really seem like the original films' younger. Although somet things are a bit cliche and expected, it is still enjoyable.

I saw this film yesterday, I was pleased.kinda of dissapointed, cause it wasnt that funny, it had its moments, there were a couple hilarious scenes but that was it.If you wanna see a all time hilarious Dumb and Dumber get the original.
