Members of Psychopathic Records get together to put out the ultimate spoof on Gangsta Rap. This cd is hilarious. They rap about shooting people with an almost endless supply of bullets, making money, hoes, stealing, and riding around in black trucks. Not only that they steal music from other rap groups. If you find gansta rap to be rediculous you will find this cd funny. It's also good to notice the contrast between gansta rap and the things that ICP rap about.

Good, but hard to find.,

This cd is an out-of-nowhere hit. It sounds more like CARNIVAL OF CARNAGE than any other album. While it is a good cd, ICP actually does very little music on it. Most of the tracks are done by other rappers and ICP only has a couple of lines. This cd is very rare. If you can find one, please get it. This album is the sxxt and no rap album is better than it.

Psychopathic Rydas - "Dumpin'" (4.5 stars),

In 1999, a gangsta rap group out of the mean-streets of Detroit by the name of Psychopathic Rydas, released their debut album "Dumpin'" on Joe & Joey Records. And it's a near gangsta rap classic!
Psychopathic Rydas (consisting of Bullet, Full Clip, Lil' Shank, Foe Foe, Cell Block and Twin Gats) took 12 songs from legendary rappers (Nas, Cypress Hill, Above The Law, etc.), erased the lyrics and spit their own re-written rhymes over their stripped down beats, in which, they made an excellent beat selection in this album. Most of these tracks are late 80's/early 90's west coast gangsta rap influence, mainly reflecting from the N.W.A. era. Which makes it even better since that was my all time favorite era in hip-hop. So in short, the beats are dope, without question. As for the lyrics, they work well with the gimmick. Bullet (Violent J) can't seem to let go of his horrorcore style, and he throws in some pretty harsh raps but some of them are almost to the point of "paranormal" one might say. Full Clip (Shaggy 2 Dope) comes correct with some pretty inpressive gun talk and sex raps. Lil' Shank (Jamie Madrox) is one of the most prominent here, as he moves away from his "Batman obssession" and gets with the gangsta program. Foe Foe (The Monoxide Child) in my opinion, has a very well-executed approach on gangsta rap, which comes as no surprise since he started his career in gangsta rap (somewhat), with his full-throated flow and ability to stay relevent and consistent, he is the best on the album. Cell Block (Blaze Ya Dead Homie) also shines here on his appearances, obviously it wasn't hard for him on here since he is a full-on gangsta rapper from the get-go. Twin Gats (Myzery) delivers a hardcore Bronx-influenced Spanish gangsta rap style, which works perfectly for this group. He is only on about half of the songs here, but he shines on his every appearance. So it's safe to say that they did a great job handling gangsta rap lyrics. As it is in a way, related to horrorcore. Here is my individual track ratings. 01. "Dumpin'" (A+) 02. "Skrilla 4 Rilla" (A) 03. "R-U-A Ryda?" (A+) 04. "Everyday" (A+) 05. "Ryda Hata" (A+) (favorite) 06. "Slug N Ya Noggin" (A) 07. "Ghetto Fantasies" (A-) 08. "Who?" (A-) 09. "Killa Ova Nuttin'" (B) (least favorite) 10. "Plug Dat Puss" (B+) 11. "Back 2 Crack" (B) 12. "Rydin' 4 Life" (B+) So there you have my prospective. The reason I gave it a 4.5/5 is because after the first half of the album, the overall concept and atmosphere kinda gets repetetive, that said though, there is not a single "horrible" track on the album. I recommend this album to all Juggalos and gangsta rap fans alike, as Psychopathic Rydas may be the best modern day gangsta rap group out there. All-around dope album. Peace. ~ Raw hide

TIGHT CD,

This cd is tight"." and if you like ICP or anyone from Psychopathic Records you should get it. There is 6 members in the group: ICP, Twiztid, Blaze Ya Dead Homie & Myzery. They all go under gangsta names (Violent J: Bullet, Shaggy 2 Dope: Full Clip, Jamie Madrox: Lil Shank, Monoxide Child: Foe Foe, Blaze: Cell Block, Myzery: Twin Gats) and it has all hella tight songs. but id say the least best songs are "Ghetto Fantasies" & "Slug N Ya Noggin". The best songs are probably "Skrilla 4 Rilla", "Who?", "Plug Dat Puss" & "Back 2 Crack". They have another cd called "Ryden Dirtay" but you should buy this cd first. POOO!
