5.0 out of 5 stars Gotta get Kitchen Grips!!
These are the best, they are easy to use, easy to clean and...I love the fact that they are so thin so it doesn't feel like you going to drop the pan while grabbing the pot holder, I have other high temp pot holders but they are too thick and awkward. I can also hold a pan for quite a bit more time than I could with normal pot holders.. These also make a great trivet on...

1.0 out of 5 stars c'mon, hot pads that melt??
These are lame. One side melts instantly on contact with a hot pan. Skip it.

Both pads "burned" on the backside the first time I used them. They are still serviceable, but the "burned" areas are hard. They were used in a normal kitchen--no blow torches.

5.0 out of 5 stars Duncan hot pads, September 11, 2009
I love these hot pads. I give them as gifts. They are thin and flexible enough to pick up and grab anything, yet still protective so that you do not get burned. Throw them in the washer and they are clean. They are hard to find, so get them when you can.

While taking a ~420 F degree baking sheet out of the oven both pads melted to the metal and left a hard, burned-on residue on the metal.

These are simply not suitable for use high temperatures, which is ridiculous.

We have had a pair for years that was looking a little long in the tooth. I did a search and found these and ordered two pairs, they are simple, not bulky and are the best.

These are absolutely the best on the market. Unlike the silicone ones on the market these are very flexable and mold to your hand and what you are holding. They are water proof so you do not end up with steam burns. This is my second set and they are great!

5.0 out of 5 stars better than silicone, March 21, 2009

I purchased the

I purchased the Duncan pot holders about 3 years ago and since have tried countless others including silicone, none work as well as the Duncans. they are more flexible and withstand temps up to 500 degrees. and can be washed in the dishwasher, in other words they are the best.
