I got these gloves because I have teenagers who are learning to cook. They're afraid of using just a hotpad or smaller cloth gloves when reaching in the oven. I think this is good for them, but I find it too stiff to manipulate my grasp when I'm cooking. Overall, good protection, but experienced cooks may want something more flexible.

Great gloves, this really work they don t let you get burnet & are non slippery

I bought 2 of these gloves, 1 short, 1 long, on a whim while on EUR Holiday in 2006. They seemed a little pricey but I needed a quick gift for my personal chef, driver, husband @ the airport. Mr.T loves them and swears that the rubber protects his hands from the heat better AND the wide hand box makes it easier to quickly get your hand in or out. Additionally, the rubber inside provents accidential slipage..',~O Go Figure....
It's been 4 years & I just ordered him a second set.

I love this product. The 2 best things about this mitt are that it's easy to hold, grab, manipulate anything you're trying to grab from the hot oven and if your hands are wet inside the mitt, your hands don't get burned. The mitt is very easy to keep clean as well.

Other silicone mitts are too stiff and fabric mitts get wet and stained. I recommend this mitt highly.
