5.0 out of 5 stars If you know whats good for you. Get this Yo-Yo
Duncan has been in the game for a long time, so they know yo-yos. Not only is this a great yo-yo to learn on, its great for people like me, who, have been yo-yoing for 5+ years. Its cheep, it spins like a mo-fo and you can make it custom to your style

1.0 out of 5 stars Broke witin a week.
This yo-yo was awful. after the original friction stickers wore, i bought some more friction stickers from the duncan website. after putting on the new friction stickers, the string would slide off the ball bearing and i would have to keep taking it apart and putting the string on the ball bearing.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

This is a great yoyo. Its versatile, you can do the freehand style or the standard tie it to your finger style. I actually got mine from doodadsweb.com. If you are looking for a durable, long life yoyo that will grow with ya, you can't go wrong with this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars A classic!, January 22, 2009

This is probably one of the best yoyo's ever made, ESPECIALLY considering that it's under 20 bucks! It's a good sleeper, perfect for string tricks, and can be customized to your needs and play style. Mine came with two different sets of spacers, and I prefer to use the thickest set for a wider string gap and less response. One thing: once the duncan friction stickers that come stock with it wear out (which will be only an hour or two of play time), replace them with some dif pads or something else...anything else. The duncan stickers just wear out way, way too fast, and they will cost you a lot of money if you keep using them. But the stickers are easily replaceable and don't detract from this awesome yo. Overall a wonderful yoyo, incredible for the price, and a staple of any yoer's collection. If you want to learn string tricks and/or freehand, this is where you start. Highly recommended.

I bought this yo-yo because I was not completely happy with my YoyoFactory Fast 201 yo-yo, which I gave four stars. This one plays great right out of the box, perfect feel in the hands, nice weight, spins great, durable, and the price is right too. I am a beginner and I was looking for a yo-yo to start learning string tricks. I was able to land a trapeze in no time with this yo-yo. I am very happy with the look, feel and price I paid. I have not tried counterweight yo-yoing, but it comes with three of them if you'd like to try it. I highly recommend this one, so much, that I bought a second one in a different color after one week. You won't regret it.

I have a lot of yoyos, but this is by far the most fun to play with. It sleeps great while you do tricks, and even freehand tricks are easy with this excellent yoyo. If you want a duncan yoyo, this is the one to buy.

First of all I want to start the review by saying that I'm in no way some kind of "professional" yo-yo-er and I am only a casual user. This is a great yoyo, the bearing is smooth, it sleeps for a long time, and you can do a lot of freehand tricks. I've only used run of the mill cheap yoyos before, this one is about as much as I've ever paid, but it works great. Fantastic quality and durability also.

This yo yo is good for beginner to intermediate tricks. The friction stickers wear off really quick and it becomes unresponsive. It sleeps for 20 to 40 seconds depending on how hard you throw it.
