Garden is growing, so that is a plus. It is very small for the price, however. We made another one of our own which is doing much better.

I am very happy with my purchase of the herb garden growing kit. All the seeds I have planted have sprouted and are growing quickly. Eileen

I think it is ok, but so far nothing seems to be growining much in like the instruction booklet said it would. I was supposed to start seeing growth within a week, but I didn't. I've it for about 3 weeks now, and I see a little growth but not not much. The chia pot that I bought at the same time are doing much better. My Basel has grown more than 3 inches high, so I'm not sure if I reccomed this one or not.

I seriously picked this thing up at the thrift store for $2.50. So, right away, I was ahead. I took it home and found the instructions a bit lacking, but I'm 26, not a child, so I managed to put it all together. I planted it a week and a half ago and some things started to poke up after a week. I looked yesterday and there was at least one sprout of everything coming up. I'm pretty excited about it. I'm really good at killing plants and I don't know that I've successfully ever managed to grow something indoors with seeds. The dome really keeps the moisture in and is almost always covered on the inside with condensation.

I'm hoping to update this when I get more growth! Maybe share a photo or two.

CAUTION: there are generic planting instructions on one side of the paper, but if you read the other side that details the individual herbs, you find plant-specific instructions (e.g. some seeds need to be planted deeper than others).

I got this to grow kitchen herbs, not as a toy for a child. I planted the seeds a week ago and some have started to sprout. It's smaller than I thought it would be -- I'm not sure how tall the plants will be able to grow. I left out the basil as I already have a mature basil plant. One thing I like is that I don't need to worry so much about watering it, which is good as I've lost a few plants to poor care. I don't know yet if each plant will sprout, but so far everything looks ok.

My boss is really into cooking so this was a fun way for him to grow his own herbs. He grew it in the office so everyone got a chance to enjoy some green growth as well as enjoy the scents of basil and other herbs.

This seems good nothing has grown yet, there were no directions with it even though box said there would be.

I bought 2 of these, although they were the fairy gardens, same manufacturer, same setup. Seed packets were 1 year past expiration dates, nothing ever bloomed. Couldn,t return something Santa brought, tried to convince my kids our sun wasn't bright enough in the front window. Hardly worth the money if it had bloomed.

I plan on infusing oil for cooking. This is exactly what I needed for year round herbs in my kitchen. I have enjoyed learning about the herbs and now I will have fresh herbs to cook with this winter and replant them outside next spring. Then I can start new ones next fall. I love it.

I ordered one from Amazon last summer and really enjoy watching things grow in it, but after the plants grew as tall as they could in it I transplanted them into pots to grow taller and then harvest them, I still have most of my plants in pots. I am expermenting with growing flowers, radishes and other kinds of plants in it now. It is holding up very well. Plants is a hobby of mine. I live in an appartment and the terrarium and pots is the only way I can have a garden. I plain on buying more of these with diff. plants to grow in them. I highly recomend it to anyone who likes to garden. I kept it inside all wenter, then put it outside for the summer here in NC.
