I'm not certain what I expected for $15, but it certainly wasn't what I received.

I purchased this as a gift for the kids - to be able to grow something more "exotic" than what we normally grow. The entire product was poorly crafted, from the base to the lid to the dirty pouches everything came stored in. It also included exactly 4 tiny seeds. Four. Heaven forbid we accidentally lose any of them.

The terrarium lid, which I'm assuming was meant to be clear plastic, was a cheap, foggy plastic that could barely even be seen through. But perhaps that didn't matter so much, since not a one of the seeds actually germinated. We'd have been better off buying a packet of these seeds off of one of Amazons other sellers for a few bucks and planting them in one of the many pots we have.

Not worth it.

So make sure you dont have plant eating pets! Needs to be kept out of reach!!

I bought this about a year and a half ago and they are still about 3" tall. They are in a bigger pot and i have three left from teh original 6 i had. I bought this because i wanted to grow and nice house palm. I didnt realize this has thorns all over its bark so its best kept as a small plant, anyway. It doesnt take much to grow, its very easy. I thought the terrarium was fine, its only ment to start to grow the plant. If you grow it right, the inside of the terrarium should get foggy from the moisture inside, until the plants are big enough to take the lid off or transplant it. I put mine outside in the summer and they grew more leaves.

This is the worst thing I have ever purchased. There were 4 total seeds two of which were broken. The container had been used before because i could tell there was markings all over it. The 2 seeds never germinated (sprouted). I got a new one for free because they wanted to make up for it. The second container was completely broken and there were only 3 seeds in it. I will never purchase this again.
