This is the second pair of Dunham Pileus hiking boots I have purchased. The first pair survived two Philmont treks and a lot of weekend backpacking trips for three years and they are still good boots. I purchased the second pair for future replacements, since this is the best pair of hiking boots that I have owned. No blisters on either trek, which is a first for me, and why I bought the second pair. I had heard they had discontinued this model, which is a shame. Would recommend this boot to anyone for backpacking and hiking. They are great!
