one flaw,
This review is from: Dunham Men's Highland Park Oxford (Apparel)
Nice looking, comfortable and good support. BUT they are about the worst shoe I have worn in terms of breathability. By the end of the day my feet were very sweaty (and this is not a problem I have had with any other shoes such as Rockports). Not recommended.

Thought I'd try these because they looked great and they had my size. I've owned for less than two months and the sole separated from upper. It was glued together and not sown like I'm used to. My next shoes will be Rockport...those typically last me 1-2 years while wearing almost daily.

Good support, but squeaky,

I've been wearing these for about a year now. The comfort is far superior to any other everyday shoe that I've owned. I have flat feet and a problematic ankle, and the Rollbar support was magic for that problem. Fit is great. My only complaint is a squeak sound that developed only a couple months after I bought them. I suspect it is the same problem another reviewer noted where the sole is separating from the shoe. Every step squeaks as though I have wet shoes on tile.

Nice shoe, very supportive. BTW, this is the 8001 model (Windsor),

Not sure why these are listed as the Highland Park (which doesn't show up on Dunham's website). The box that came said Windsor (8001). They are mostly true to size, but the toe box is a little tight, so if you are close on a size, you might want to go 1/2 size larger. I ordered my normal size and there is a slight pressure on my left big toe, otherwise fine. That might go away as they wear in. Otherwise, the shoe is very supportive and is doing wonders for my low arch/chronic Achilles problems. A nice bonus is they come with an extra set of laces! There have been some comments about the sole coming unglued. I will be watching for this and will post an update if I see this problem within the 1st year.

Very solid, well made shoe. Sized exactly as expected for my 4E duck feet. Good value -- I save 5 stars for exceptionally value.

My feet have two characteristics that Dunham Highland Park shoes address quite well.
1. My feet are BIG size 12's, and these shoes look very nice without making it appear as if I am wearing gunboats on my feet. 2. My fee are very bad, requiring custom orthotics and maximum support in all directions. Like all Dunham and New Balance shoes, these have that with stiff soles, RollBar support, and plenty of room to accommodate the inserts. I couldn't be happier . . . I now have all three colors and wear them daily in my business.

Super comfortable. Since they are part of the New Balance family, they have great support. Perfect fit. Fast shipping by the seller.

Love these shoes, very light with plenty of support. Use them as work shoe with custom insert

So far, so good,

My transactions with Shoebuy (the actual seller) were first-rate; their delivery was prompt and, when I had to reorder (my fault), they paid all shipping and quickly refunded the price of the first pair once they received them.
As for the Dunham shoes, they look good, feel good and have performed well so far. Of course with shoes performance can only be determined over a period of time, so we'll see. But today I would rate them as good value for the money. |
