Good for basic rythmn, but you'll never hear these in a live setting, unless you mike them. Be like Mick Jaggar and get the really big gord models or better yet, some plastic or rawhide model, or a cylindrical shaker, you can at least hear them in the live setting.

Durable with a good sound. Best priced shakers I've found for use in early childhood music classes.

For the price, you really shouldn't pass up this opportunity for such a fun instrument. They're just the right size for the hand, and inviting to use.

The title says most of it - these are inexpensive, fun to use, and work perfectly for me. Varying your hand movements lets you produce a nice range of sounds ranging from a soft swooshing to a hard and percussive attack.

I use them at all-acoustic jams, and they are exactly the right loudness to go with six or seven acoustic guitars all playing together. I found that their small size, comfortable egg shape, and inconspicuousness encourage shy people to try using them, which is great for friendly jam sessions.

It's funny to say that there are good egg shakers and bad ones. This brand is a great one. The shake is soft and not harsh like some. The plastic is durable and every 6 month old who has seen them has picked them up, sucked on them and thrown them around. They are cute, great to throw in a diaper bag for a quick bit of entertainment while out and about, and great as your kids grow older as they like to shake them to the music. So many of my friends have been impressed with them and all love them for their little ones. A must have toy for all kids.

I love to shake my eggS to the kewl tunages! It amuses my basset hounds, bird & myself. Yet my Hubster finds my love for percussion annoying. That's when I shake them some more!

These egg shakers are a perfect companion for a music lover since you can use them very easily with an incredible sound and quality.

These shakers are great for the price. The volume had surprised me when I tried it for the first time. Very easy to use and quality too!

As egg shakers go, you may find better out there, but these are good for most purposes. I wouldn't hesitate to use these in a performance, and first timers seem to have an easy time picking them up.

great shaker but i was buying for kids and adults so no real difference to the colourful ones. for my purposes i want colourful.
