Amazing picks!,

This review is from: Dunlop Gel Picks, Medium Light (Electronics)
I absolutely love these picks! Recently, I had trouble finding some and had to switch styles. I've honestly found that my playing is substandard with other picks. These picks have great grip and unlike some Dunlop picks, the ink from the logo won't rub off and stain your fingers. I love the gel picks and I've yet to see this "splittering" effect that everyone is so concerned about. Maybe I just don't play hard enough, but I would still seriously reccommend these picks to anyone.

I bought them just because I thought they looked cool and I wanted to try something new. I love the grip of them. I have yet to have any one of my picks chip. I also like how the ink doesn't rub off on my fingers. These picks are pretty much the only ones I ever use anymore.

I love the color and feel of these picks. The only problem is that they are semi-transparent and I can see the strings through the pick. I'm a beginning guitarist and still have to look at the strings as I play. Because of the transparency I can't really determine the placement of the pick in order to strum the correct string. Does this make sense??? I hope so. This is probably a great pick for a seasoned player, but I recommend that beginners use something solid in color.

Not what i expected,
This review is from: Dunlop Gel Picks, Medium Light (Electronics)
I bought these picks thinking they'd just be, well picks. Even thought the pick is a little part of the whole guitar experience, it's still important. The edges are rough and the tip chips. I do not reccomend it.

I've been using these picks for the better part of the past ten years for acoustic playing. I find the medium-light gauge produces a good amount of control for picking single strings but still offers enough flex for a smooth strum. They also become slightly tacky when exposed to the oils in your skin so you won't find them flying off your fingers too often. Unfortunately they're a fairly rigid material and if you really bang away they will crack and break. They're not as prone to cracking as the blue light gauge but it does happen from time to time. If you're looking for a more sturdy pick in the same gauge I would recommend the orange .60mm Jim Dunlop Tortex picks.

These really feel good, grippy so they don't rotate. Bright color makes theme easy to spot. Cheap enough to be disposable.

I got the green Medium-Light pick and it's great for strumming. I like it better than the green or orange Dunlop Tortex picks that everyone is in love with (for strumming atleast).

I bought these for my fiance who plays the guitar almost everyday. Billy fell in love with them! He says he loves the texture.

bought these for my daughter, so I can't really say if the picks are great or not, but the photo shows 5 colors of picks and we got a pack of 12 green... not quite what I was after

I tried three of these on a whim and they impressed me favorably. In fact, they were so good that I purchased ten more when I went back to the same music store. My favorites are mandolin picks like Golden Gate or Grisman "Dawgs". The round side of the XH Dunlop Gels gives me a similar attack and a nice warm tone. I would recommend these to anyone.
