5.0 out of 5 stars Two pianos and oh, the good old times!, January 22, 2009
What a team Morley and Gearhart were. I can remember growing up with this vinyl. My Mother was a pianist and could play great cocktail piano, (she had perfect pitch, that none of her four children inherited). We had two pianos in our living room which the two children who became professional musicians played vigorously. What are the most wonderful aspects of the Morley & Gearhart performances are their obvious technical prowess, attention to appropriate style, and the excitement they generated through their playing. I cannot even begin to say what a wonderful addition this CD is to the annals of great piano performances.

5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic artistry, June 29, 2008
I have given this cd to everyone I can, especially my musician friends. It's absolutely smashing - ensemble fabulous, arrangements are wonderful, artistry superb. I am amazed that this is the first I have heard of these 2 wonderful pianists. Hopefully I will be able to hear Gearhardt's incredible arrangements in concert again - they deserve to be played.
