Editorial Reviews

About the Artist
Jude and Laureen were literally two musical ships passing in the night for almost 20 years before being teamed together in 1995 as special guests for a local concert. They were a hit and Laureen sent a demo tape to the booking agent at the world-famous Plush Room Cabaret in San Francisco. The booking agent hired them sight unseen and they debuted to a full house March 30, 1996. Two subsequent performances followed, along with 2 albums and a third titled "Easy Does It" to be released in the year 2000.

4.0 out of 5 stars Hard to believe this is their first CD!, January 20, 2000
By A Two-Gether, Again Groupie (Bay Area, California) - See all my reviews
These gals got it goin on! The CD is awesome. Vocalist sounds a lot like Lena Horne and Judy Garland - great voice! The pianist is equally as talented; compliments the vocals rather than overpowers. I've seen these ladies live and if you love the CD, you should see them in person! Unbelievable chemistry and showmanship! Can't wait for their next CD, "Remember When..." to come out! Will purchase that one as well. Thanks Amazon.

4.0 out of 5 stars For 2 self-produced musicians the CD is really GREAT!!!, November 23, 1998
By A Customer
I was very touched by the music from these two woman. The CD is very refreshing to hear because there is just the piano, a few cuts with strings and the vocals, which allows the listener to really hear the talent of the performers. Alot of music today is too loud and too busy with too much electronic help. The vocalist is very talented with an incredible ability to sing anything. The pianist is equally talented with the different styles she is able to play and be completely together with her vocalist. I'd recommend these performers and their CD to anyone. Good for you at Amazon.Com for bringing them on board.
