Duofold makes excellent thermal underwear for those cold, cold days and nights. The cotton/polyester two layered fabric is actually extremely well made and this underwear lasts years with proper care. It can be worn as underwear under your outdoor clothes or you can wear it in bed with your pajamas on over it. Whatever way you choose you can't go wrong with Duofold...

2.0 out of 5 stars Duofold bottoms...
Soft and comfy is what I thought I was buying...but unfortunately, like many others I've tried...the seams felt like fiberglass insulation. I wore great St. John's Bay long underwear from JC Penney for years but they quit making 'em. It's OK, though, because I just found the Holy Grail of long underwear...Sears Covington thermals. Pure 100% cottony bliss. The best I've...

Whatever way you choose you can't go wrong with Duofold thermal underwear.

The fabric is just as soft as they say it is; and this thermal underwear bottom helps to keep you much warmer than you think it would. It appears flimsy and floppy before you put it on--but after you're wearing it you'll notice a huge difference. You'll be a lot warmer with it! It also does not bunch or wrinkle easily. The elastic waistband is comfortable and as long as you get the right size for you it never feels too tight around the waist.

As for maintenance, I just put mine in the clothes washer and dryer and everything always comes out fine. If you get this in navy blue or any other color and you have concerns about the color "bleeding" onto white colored clothing, just wash this with garments that are not white. You'll be fine. In addition, it shrinks very little.

Be sure to check the pricing and availability chart and the merchant sizing chart if you want to order this here.

Overall, Duofold makes one awesome thermal underwear bottom for men. I highly recommend this product.

They are of very good quality, labeless (the label is part of the fabric) and they keep me very warm and I will wear them on occasion under my dress slacks and you do not feel them at all nor does the elastic ankle band leave any skin compression marks on your ankles. I definitely recommend them!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Winter Warmups, January 14, 2009
I purchased this long underwear for my husband for Christmas. He works outdoors during most of our treacherous winter months and was used to wearing the waffle weave type thermals so I was apprehensive in purchasing this type. Much to my delight, he LOVES the Duofold and claims they're so much warmer and more comfortable than what he had been wearing. Hooray, hooray, I did something right!! They also launder beautifully.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not your old scratchy thermals!, March 28, 2008
I researched and researched for hours on the internet. I have the old style cheap thermals that feel like "burlap" against your skin. I wanted something different. So after spending hours online looking at different fabrics, brands, and prices. I didn't want to spend a fortune on something that I might ruin wearing to work in. I decided on the Duofold Midweight thermals.
They are awesome!! From a man's perspective, "soft" , comfortable and easily worn as a base layer. They don't shift or bunch.

Buy 'em!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality long underwear bottoms for men, June 13, 2008
These were much better quality than I have been able to purchase before. The fabric is heavy and durable yet most comfortable. They retain their shape well after laundering.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thermal underwear, January 15, 2007
These long underwear are very warm. They are two layers and yet aren't too bulky. They can be worn under regular pants with no problems. They didn't appear to shrink much after washing like most thermals do.
