This no itch, mid-weight wool long underwear pant is like wearing a little blue blanket. The entire day I worked in the usual over air conditioned office space I felt comfortable and not sweaty. 2.0 out of 5 stars Itchy.
We found this product to be too itchy to tolerate. Very well constructed and probably very warm -- you should plan to wear silk long underwear under them if you have sensitive skin.

Then it kept me just as warm when riding my bike. The waist band is a little bulky, so I advise a relaxed fit top. NO SHRINKAGE in a COLD WATER machine wash, and it was dry the next day after I hung it over a hanger. A good product at a very good price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for under dress slacks in (really!) cold Chicago weather!, January 26, 2009
Duofold Women's Dri-release Wool Mid-Weight, Single-Layer Thermal #391B
These were great under dress slacks! Light in weight, but a comfy, warm layer. They were much thinner than I expected, but great weight for going in and out of warm buildings and into frigid temps. I have long legs and they were longer than expected. They did stretch out a bitin the lower leg (around ankles)which suprised me. Bought the top, too, which had a nice fit.

I purchased these for my winter cycling commute. The mornings have been cold and I have been warm thanks to Duofold. Very light weight and worth the money !

I bought these and the top that goes with them and love both. Personally, I don't find the wool to be itchy at all. Very comfortable, and thin enough to wear under dress clothes. Mostly I use them in NYC when the temperature is below freezing, and they've kept me warm when I'm outside. But I don't get overheated when I go inside, which is perfect.

I do also use them for sports (which is what the "dri-release" thermals are actually intended for), and they've kept me warm and dry. A great buy, in my opinion.

Never having needed thermal pants before, I really had to trust the reviews and then hope I'd made the right choice. Going from California to Colorado, I was worried about the cold weather. The sizing, comfort, and warmth provided by these Duofold ankle length pants was perfect. I have since worn them on chilly CA mornings under my golf pants. Color me a "happy camper."

5.0 out of 5 stars Thermal pants, August 28, 2011

I purchased 2 of these for my hiking trip and they are absolutely amazing. Warm & comfortable. Some day I use them as tights under a long top and they look great as well. Seem very durable and presume will last me for years.
