This is a very comfortable and warm shirt. It has been great this winter. Keeps me warm without being itchy. It's very soft and I forget I'm wearing it.
I saw other reviewers saying that the size is larger than a normal shirt. IT IS TRUE.
I wear a large T-Shirt, and this shirt in MEDIUM is the perfect size. So I recommend going a size down.

I took the advice of getting a size smaller and it seemed to work out okay. It's a little tight but fine overall. I'm 6'2 and 250 pounds and I chose medium. There must be a lot of big people out there if I wear a medium. I probably would choose large next time for a looser fit.

They are warm, at least for underwear.

I would suggest not wearing them until you wash them. I tried one on out of the package and got a rash. After washing they were fine.

Would recommend, the price is decent and they do keep me warm.

My husband is very picky when it comes to his "long johns". I have bought him a pair every year for christmas since we've been married (over 5 yrs now), and until now, have not found a pair he likes! He hasn't wanted to take these off long enough to wash them (of course, I've made him). Anyway, I've ordered another pair. I even asked if I should get the heaby weight, as I had ordered the mid weight, he says he loves the ones he has. I bough large, and while he is on the shorter side, he's not a small guy (has a big belly), and they fit very well, did not shrink in the wash.
Only problem I would see with these, is you can't buy them as a set. Have to buy the top and bottom separately. HE LOVES THEM!!! Great purchase!!

I usually wear either medium or large shirts so I ordered a medium. Pretty comfy shirt but...

The torso and shoulders fit well, but I don't know if I have really long arms or what, but the sleeves are at least an inch or two short of where most other long sleeve shirts go. (no where near the length as in the stock photo). If you're curious, I am about 6'0" tall 175 lbs.

I apologize for adding to the sizing confusion, but I wear a large, bought this in large, and it was too small.

I purchased one of these along with "Indera - Mens Regular and Tall Long Sleeve Thermal Top, 800LS". The Duofold is a MUCH higher quality product. I wear a medium, and it was a little big out of the bag, but after one wash it fit perfectly. Used it on long walks in the rain (rain jacket over it). It kept me warm and wicked away perspiration. The Indera gets soaking wet from sweat. I'm going to order another couple of the Duofolds. Very highly recommended product.

I read the reviews before buying this so I bought the small where he would normally wear a medium. I would say that the small is like a large men's shirt. It is very bulky. I bought it for my son who just left to serve a mission. There is no way that it would fit under a dress shirt. I kept it for my husband just so he can have some thermals.

I like the texture and fit but the arm length is short (by about two inches in my case). Comfortable during hikes.

Update:12/20/14. No difficulties encountered. It wears well, washes well, fits nicely. However, as stated it is mid weight leaning toward light. It isn't bulky and still fits just right, for me.

After a machine wash and dry I've found this "Duofold Men's Mid Weight Wicking Crew Neck Top" by Hanesbrands fits just right, as I had expected it would. I'm only making a point of this as I've noticed some negative results with sizing.

I've checked the garment thoroughly and I can state that the seams are stitched nicely and there's no evidence of any loose or hanging threads. I've a short arm length and the sleeves sit just in front of my wrists which is just right. And I like that the length goes considerably below my waste line, too. I've left off one star as I'll need a bit of time to determine how well this garment holds up and the degree of warmth it provides.

This is quite obviously a warm shirt as soon as you touch it. Well made seams and fabric, sure to keep your warmth in during the winter. It is, however, no joke getting sleeves of any length.

Now, I am used to short sleeves on shirts (I have a 35in arm), and given my weight (~150lbs), I have to order smalls often, but this takes the cake. These sleeves barely get past my elbows. It's like I'm wearing a 3/4 sleeve if I pull it down all the way, and it will not stay there. Now, you might say that this is no surprise, since I ordered a small. But the confusing thing is that the torso is quite long enough for me. It reaches my waistline (impressive in its own right since I am 6'4").

Now, fortunately for me, I can use these since I work in a kitchen environment, so I roll sleeves usually anyway, but wearing these to any place besides work leads to some discomfort, as my wrists and most of my forearm are exposed, but at least the torso is warm. But if you do have long arms, be warned on this one.
