5.0 out of 5 stars every bit as good as the UnderArmor ones for 1/3 the price.
Bought these for a recent motorcycle camping trip. Wore them outside and to sleep under my jeans and protective pants. Wicked away sweat during the day in the desert, kept me warm at night, felt better than the ones I bought at my local Academy too. I should have bought 3 pair of these.

1.0 out of 5 stars large not long enough
I'm 6"2" and 195lbs. So I'm tall but not big. Ordered a large based on sizing chart. These only came down to my calf, not ankles as shown and were very restrictive even though my calfs are not big. Had to send them back and didn't get full refund because Amazon said I ordered wrong size.
I wouldn't buy these unless you're under 5'11".

2.0 out of 5 stars What happened to Duofold?, September 10, 2009
These kept me warm so the purpose was served (layered under Marmot expedition weight pants). Maybe I bought the wrong product but the old Duofold was form fitting and drew away moisture. These did not do a great job of that. They also had an irritating pinstripe throughout the fabric. It was terribly itchy and uncomfortable. I am not sure why they are constructed that way. I do not suggest this product to anyone who is actually going to be sweating or wanting to move around.

These are awesome underwear for outdoor sports or work in cold weather, or if you just want to stay warm
inside the house.

They fit true to size - and are great quality.

You won't be disappointed!

5.0 out of 5 stars duofold Polypropylene thermal pants, January 22, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I ordered these for my husband. They were the perfect fit. They keep him warmer than the regular cotton thermals and he states they feel better against his skin. Jeans slide on easier and less "sticking" to the older type of thermals. He would never switch back. The comfort waist band is also a plus

Bought this for a backpacking trip in the Sipsey Wilderness in northern Alabama one week before Thanksgiving 2009. It held up nicely for what I needed and I am very pleased with it for what I paid.

The stitching seems sound and the quality of the material is just fine. There is a lot of stretching room horizontally (fat/thin), but very little stretching available vertically (tall/short). I would say that the only bad thing about this product is that since there is very little vertical stretching, the waistline in the rear slides down when I bend over -- it typically returns when I stand upright, but it is mildly unnerving to feel your pants/underwear ride down so much when you bend over. I buy pants in a 33" waist with a 32" inseam, and a medium fit me just fine. I would say that the medium would easily fit a 34" waist (maybe even 35"), given the high amount of horizontal stretching. It is labeled "Mid Weight" but I would say that the material is mid-to-light in weight.

Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase, and I would certainly recommend it to others.

Duofold Men's Polypropylene Mid Weight Tagless Bottoms are like wearing nothing at all. Since they are long, when worn under your favorite Levi 501's or any jean or long pants there is nothing to bind or show a an underwear line, it looks and feels like nothing, in other words "they look hot". Very comfortable and they feel great! I wear them all year-round and for me, never too warm. You can wear them to work-out in the gym.

Kind of thin, but effective, and much better than spending $90 for a pair of long-john bottoms at an outdoor store. I don't care HOW amazing the fiber technology is, $90 is way too much for underwear.

I don't think these are the greatest fitting nor the most comfortable of material. I personally would spend the extra money next time and buy my Patagonia Longunderwear again!

I may be spoiled though as my Marmot and Patagonia ones are much nicer....and much more expensive.

Its perfect! Thermals that don't itch, thin yet warm. I work indoors and need thermals that I can use wherever. This is it.
