I normally wear a size small and that is just what size I would wear in this shirt, as well. I ordered two of these in Medium because so many people said to order a size larger. These ladies must be larger than they think as the shirt I received are very true to size. The Medium was far too large on me.
Sizing chart on package states Small= sizes 4-6 or 33-34" chest Medium = sizes 8-10 or 35-36" chest Large= sizes 12-14 or 37-39" chest XL= size 16 40-41" chest. Hope this helps.

I bought this shirt for a friend who is attending college in upstate New York, where they major in freezing cold, strong wind and ice storms. My biggest concern when I bought it was that the shirt would have the "typical" thermal shirt texture - you know, with the little squares? Considering the price, I was also afraid that the shirt would only look thermal, but not keep her warm in the least.
I needn't have worried. The shirt has two layers: neither are thick and nothing looks textured. The shirt is just the right warmth; not sweltering indoors, and warm enough that she doesn't freeze while walking the quarter mile from the dormitories to the academic buildings. When she visited, she was wearing the shirt, and I didn't know it was the thermal shirt I bought. I thought it was a nice looking shirt she bought to look good. (those two things don't often go together) The shirt has been laundered many times without subjecting it to any kind of special care: washed in the way only a college student can stuff a washer, and thrown in the dryer with jeans and sneakers. But it still looks new. To me, that is the ultimate compliment - looks great (even when abused while washing) and still keeps her toasty warm (but not sweaty). I plan to buy the shirt in any other colors available. If you need to be warm despite wind chills, drafts and goofy people who prop open the doors in a snowstorm (using the dorm as a ready made snow fort), and you want to look feminine and attractive, then this is the shirt for you. I did deduct one star because the shirt ran a little bit small. My friend is a size six, and a medium fit her well. Buy a size bigger than you need.

Very Warm and Soft,

The material is different from the waffle-type material that you usually see on a thermal shirt. It is very soft cotton. It is mostly smooth, with tiny indentations every inch or so. It could almost be worn as an every day shirt. Sizes run a bit small. I usually get a large, but I had read on a previous review about the small size. I got an XL, and it fits perfectly. All in all this is a very good value for money. It is about 1 and 1/2 times thicker than a standard thermal, and provides more warmth. It seems like 2 layers of soft cotton bonded together. I am very happy with my purchase.

I like them as they are lightweight and actually look very nice. I have even had complimenets on them. I will definitly be getting more. If you are really needing warmth though you will want to get something a little heavier. These are pefect for me in the cool atmosphere I work but would not be good for hiking or hunting in the cold for long periods.

love it!,
I love this product! It is very warm and comfortable. I had initially gotten it just for warmth under other clothes, but I really like wearing it alone too. I had gotten a large size thinking that the cotton would shrink, but it didnt shrink at all so next time I would get a medium.

Measurements of size M.
Sleeve Length: 22" - measured from underarm seam to cuff. Length from Center Back: 27" Chest width: 18" - measured from left underarm seam to right underarm seam. My feedback on the Thermal Size: True to the size Pros: good quality, soft, warm. Cons: 1. Sleeve: longer than most of my jackets and tops. The lower arm is very narrow; it takes some efforts to get in right after wash. 2. Length: super long, it's like wearing a tunic top. Since it is thermal underwear, most likely you will need to tuck in your jeans/pants, it makes your butt grows at least 3" instantly. Because of its unflattering effect, I wear it to sleep only.

These tops are comfortable, warm and look surprisingly cute.
So far, I have only worn them during weather where temperatures are above freezing. However, they perform very well during the 40-50 degree (fahrenheit) weather I have been experiencing. I have used them in conjunction with another long-sleeve shirt and with just a hoodie, during late-night errand runs and during early morning walks with the dog. I am very sensitive to cold temperatures and these tops keep me warm and happy. The tops are very comfortable--no annoying tags, itchy seams or anything of the sort. I can wear them all day and night without a single complaint. As a nice bonus, they look rather cute, too. There's been a couple of times where I was actually over-dressed and had to pull a hoodie or top off to be comfortable and no one thought the top was unattractive or inappropriate. (Not that I would wear it to a formal event, though!) My one cautionary note might be the fit: I found the fit to be a bit loose around the waist (which was not unwelcome) while a bit snug around the hip area. I have comparatively small hips (for my size/build) and if I notice a bit of snugness in the hip area, I can imagine a more curvy woman being displeased.

I bought these items as I was heading to the winter for a short stint. I was pleasantly surprised. Apart from being extremely comfortable, they actually did a great job in keeping the cold off. Absolutely no bulk under your clothes as well. I would recommend them highly.

Fits like a second skin, doesn't restrict mobility, and is comfy byitself as it is when used as a layering shirt.
