This is pretty bad news for the scores of single available women in the city that frequent night spots, sign up for dating services, and scour the Internet, trying to find someone of the opposite sex with a pulse within a 100 mile radius. So what happens when a recently divorced, thirty-something single mother wants to defy the odds to go looking for love? About the Author
Patricia Wilson-Smith is a Kansas City, Missouri native, whose creativity was first displayed through music. At the age of fifteen, she was both writing musical pieces for the piano and developing computer programs. A gifted musician, she studied for years as a young child at the Weddington School of Music before eventually being accepted to the University Of Missouri Kansas City Conservatory Of Music as a Piano Performance major. She currently holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems and a Master’s Degree in Information Technology. Patricia serves as one the most popular, respected and entertaining adjunct instructors at her graduate alma mater (Southern Polytechnic State University). In addition to her technical and professional pursuits, Patricia is also regarded as one of the most talented and prolific undiscovered female producers and singers in the music industry. She established Just Groovin’ Entertainment and Recording Studios, a production company in Atlanta, Georgia. In music production, she discovered an interest that allowed her to exploit all of her talents – using digital MIDI and analog technologies to produce music, jingles, and spoken word pieces. All this, while being a college instructor and working for a variety of Fortune 500 companies as an Internet technology consultant and developer. Patricia and her son currently reside in Atlanta, GA.

Truly entertaining and crack-your-side funny...
Everyone in my club loved this book. As a 30-something single-mom trying to navigate the Atlanta dating scene, Duped by Love was the funniest and most accurate account of what the world of dating can be like, especially with the unique challenges that on-line dating brings. Want a great little book that your book club will enjoy? Try Duped by Love. This book has a story that everyone can relate to. We all laughed when we read it and laughed again when we discussed it at our book club.
The author is totally believable. Most of us have become pretty good at predicting the ending of most books. This book had a surprise that none of us saw coming. I love it when a book/author can surprise me.
