I also painted the visible surface of my rotors Dupli-Color Black Satin because to me, a rusty rotor takes away from a nice looking caliper. I only painted what would be visible on the rotor. DO NOT paint the rotor (hub) face where the wheel contacts the rotor, unless you want wheel balance issues when you put the wheels back on. Even the *slightest* amount of paint between the wheel and rotor hub face will cause vibration.Read more ›
The brake cleaner works pretty well, but no more so than others. It is a nice touch that they include it in the box. The stir stick is a nice touch too.
One fault, no instructions on clean up. The paint dries quickly. So unless you have all 4 wheels off, it would be hard to use a single brush with no clean up instructions as the brush would be destroyed by dry paint before you got to the 2nd wheel.
Only problem with G2 is you cannot save paint (turns rock solid in several hours), so it has to be thrown away. However, Dupli-color caliper kit can be stored away and used later on.
looked a bit cheap so I had avoided their paint. I was very wrong. The red was brilliant,
and would look great even on a Ferrari or Lambo... They give you plenty of paint for 2 coats of
very large calipers. The paint goes on easily and predictably. My only complaint is the cheap
brush they provide, you should buy your own. Take your time, do two coats and you will have people
screeching to a Stop to check out your calipers.
Now a few thoughts: I had to use a few brushes not included in this kit, a 1 inch brush and a slightly smaller brush; the brush they give you in the kit is useless, throw it away. They give you a paint stir-stick...you don't need it, just shake up the can for a minute or so. Wear gloves and put a plastic sheet under each wheel, this is a serious paint and it will stay where it spills. Go slow and use a good light, you want to paint all the nooks and crannies. Don't paint any rubber pieces and don't paint your rotors, just the calibers. Preparation is super important, get all that rust off or use a rust converter. The can of paint is small but it's enough to paint probably 12-16 calibers, FAR more than just the 4 I did. A little goes a long way and it just about flows on.
I can't tell you how great these calibers look. They look professionally coated. That ceramic paint is excellent. Hard as nails, bright red, shiny. Worth every penny. Buy this product, you will NOT regret it.

I'm sure this stuff will work like other kits I've bought....however this kit had the roll of masking tape shoved in the paint can and probably 1/4 of the paint was dried out. Read morePublished 1 day ago by tony
Product is terrible! Can says 5 min between coates. Box says 15 to 20. Paint was drippy as hell. 3 days later still tacky. 4 days later went to put on and the paint was like clay. Read morePublished 8 days ago by Amazon Customer

I wasn't totally sure about this product as it seemed like it was going to take a lot of effort and I questioned how well it would actually stick. Read morePublished 28 days ago by Markus33
I painted the calipers on my 2005 Accord and it looks pretty good. The paint is decent paint and you get more than enough for two coats. The brush is kind of suspect tho. Read morePublished 1 month ago by JERMAINE

Easy to paint on and has lasted a while now through pretty rough winter conditions.Published 2 months ago by eastcoastguy202
Very thick. Takes a long time to dry (a full 24 hours is actually needed). If you are going to completely remove and paint the calipers, it's going to take you TWO days. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Brooklyn Born
