Dupli-Color Brake Caliper Paint,
By Jeffrey Campbell "Semper Fidelis" (Atlanta, GA. USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dupli-Color BCP401 Yellow Brake Caliper Kit (Automotive)
This product is everything they promise. Everything you need to use it comes in the kit. Quick and easy. Set aside 24 hours of not being able to operate the vehicle as that is the cure time for this product.

Good Caliper Paint,
By
This review is from: Dupli-Color BCP401 Yellow Brake Caliper Kit (Automotive)
This kit was exactly what I needed - plenty of cleaner and paint to easily do four brake calipers. There was enough paint to do at least three coats on at least two sets of (4) brakes.

Great Job Gone Bad,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Dupli-Color BCP401 Yellow Brake Caliper Kit (Automotive)
New tires and new wheels! My project was to repaint all 4 calipers to go along with the new set up. I painstakingly disassembled them and stripped the old red paint. I painted the parts using Dupli-Color Aerosol Yellow over a number of days in thin even coats. I reassembled the parts using new seals and upgraded stainless hardware. They looked very good.
From experience with other projects I knew that I would need to do some touch up after reassembly and installation. Luckily I planned ahead by also purchasing the Dupli-Color Yellow Brake Kit. Brake parts cleaner is always good to have but the real reason was to use the can of brush on paint for touch-up. I did the touch-up on the vehicle and what a surprise .... the color was so far off that I plan on re-stripping them at additional time and expense. One would think that with a name like "Dupli-Color" that they could have, should have, gotten the color right. It wasn't just a shade off but instead a completely different hue, almost an orange. Dupli-Color only sells one color choice for Yellow Caliper paint. It's called "Yellow" The cap on the spray was nearly the same color as the paint itself. The color sample on the kit box was the same as the paint from aerosol. I've always used other manufactures products on my vehicles but thought I'd give Dupli-Color a try. Would I use this product again? I would if no one would ever see my work or if I no longer cared. (I normally don't review products, that's how bad this was)
