this cd is very interesting... they have the vocal power of Thursday and Found Dead Hanging COMBINED. They go from melodic emo singing to extreme hardcore breakdowns... very intrigueing... listen for yourself

I've been following them for quite some time - and let me tell you - no matter how great this CD sounds, they are a million times better live. (Worlds Apart in Paducah, KY - REPRESENT!) They've got incredible stage presence.

I wholeheartedly recommend this CD and any other recording you can find that they've done. I'm happy to see they've gotten so big. But with great music like theirs, it was bound to happen.

An amazing hardcore band from St. Louis, Missouri; Calico System reaches out and rips your soul from your body with catchy vocals and seemingly powerful breakdowns. When first hearing Calico System in 2003, shortly after they recorded this CD (The Duplicated Memory) with Eulogy Records, I quickly found them at the top of my music collection. I was immediately taken hostage by Calico System's admirable sounds, and never wanted to be set free. Calico System also has very unique stage presence, and tries their hardest to make the show a deep memory for the crowd, as well as sounding good doing it. Very rarely does Calico System come to Georgia, and play at our local venue, Swayzes. But I never miss a show when they do. If you enjoy hardcore music, this CD is a must have.
