Product Description

Refurb Nikon 7510 10X25 Travelite V Binoculars W/Case in New condition, with 90 day factory warranty. Includes deluxe case, strap, instructions, and box. Compact rubber-coated design for easy grip Multicoated optics BaK4 high-index prisms Clicking diopter control for strain-free viewing Quick central focusing. Nikon has introduced an upgrade of the successful Travelite binocular series, popular with hikers, birders, and nature enthusiasts. The new Travelite V series binoculars incorporate several new features designed to make them more user-friendly while enhancing optical performance. Each model in the Travelite series has 25mm objective lenses for maximum light gathering. Close focus distance is under 14 feet for all models. The Nikon Travelite V binoculars utilize precision-ground, multicoated optics, and high-index BaK4 prisms for true color rendition, maximum sharpness, and enhanced light transmission. They also use aspherical eyepiece lenses that provide a very flat viewing field and markedly improved edge-to-edge sharpness over many conventional lenses. A new, ergonomically contoured, carbon-fiber body makes the Travelite V easy to use for long viewing sessions without physical fatigue. The lightweight body encases a rugged all-metal chassis and is covered with a durable black rubber armor that provides added shock resistance and a positive grip in slippery conditions. It also features large, conveniently located central focus knobs and clicking diopters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic binoculars for birders, April 28, 2008
I am extremely impressed with the Nikon Travelite 10 x25 binoculars. I am a professionl environmental scientist working for an international engineering consulting firm and my work requires long days in the field. Purchasing these binocs was an excellent decision due to their light weight and clear optics. After many years of using different types of binoculars, these have been by far the best ones. I spent an entire week looking for listed bird species at an Air Force base in Florida and several times my colleagues would ask to borrow it...I think this says it all!

5.0 out of 5 stars Affordable quality and light weight, September 10, 2003

In selecting a binocular to use in my backpacking and mountaineering hobbies, I wanted something small, light weight, and with reasonably good optics, yet not so expensive that I'd cry in my beer for days should I drop or otherwise damage them. These binoculars seemed to be the ideal choice. Although slightly more expensive than the half-dozen other brands which I compared them with, to my eyes the Nikon Travelites had noticeably superior optics. They are compact yet comfortable to hold, and the rubber body covering provides for a secure grip. And with a weight of around 9-ounces I almost never give a second thought about adding them to my pack. I chose the 10x model, but 8x, 9x, and 12x models are also available for those with differing needs and preferences. An all around quality binocular for this price range.

4.0 out of 5 stars Recommend, September 15, 2008
I purchased these binoculars for my wife to use on a cruise after reading another good review written by someone that used them on an Alaskan cruise. My wife really liked them and used them daily while on shore excursions and from the ship. I was kind of jealous as they were so lite and worked as well as my old heavy Pentex binoculars I was carrying. They are solid quality, comfortable to look thru and easy to adjust. They come with a nylon strap and soft case. Only 2 lens caps were included which is ok if you carry in the cover. Small enough to fit in wifes purse which will make them good for use in concerts etc as well.
