Thanks for nothing Dupont...

It appears to disolve the clearcoat and/or paint like nail polish remover with the intent of filling in the scratch.

Believe me, it doesn't work ... it's a big waste of money.

First of all I got this at Costco for 13.99 for 3 which is cheaper than 1 stick on Amazon. Good for the time you have a scratch a little too deep to buff just not too deep....when exactly is that?

All I know is the package says "fast repair for scratches, nicks and dings in your car, bike, boat or other painted surfaces with clear coats. It's easy to get a professional looking repair at a fraction of the cost of traditional auto body shop repair". First of all, would anyone really believe that?

I decided to give it a try since it was at Costco and one third the price online and I can take it back....which I will...because it's.....WORTHLESS. I basically put clear fingernail polish on my little door ding so now I have a shiny little door ding.

How many more car finishes must be ruined by use of this product before a class action lawsuit gets filed against the Dupont company for re-packaging Super Glue into a Magic Marker and calling it "Pro-Fusion Color Car Clear Coat Scratch Repair"? When will the Dupont company be brought to justice for this deplorable scam? What does it take to get this shit taken off store shelves and online market venues (hello, Amazon)???
I bought this product over a year ago to touch up a light scratch (about 2 inches in length) on my newly purchased 2011 Ford Ranger. I diligently followed the application instructions, and in less than ten seconds this product managed to cause significant and permanent damage by crudely dissolving the clear coat and leaving behind a highly visible, glossy and raised scar on top of the scratch that it did nothing to conceal. It appears as if I took a Q-tip that had been dipped in fingernail gloss or Super Glue gel and then smeared it on top of a pre-existing scratch and allowed it to dry.
This product DOES NOT WORK. Furthermore, the ingredients in this product WILL CAUSE PERMANENT AND COSTLY DAMAGE TO YOUR CAR'S FINISH, REGARDLESS OF HOW IT'S APPLIED.
That being said, if what you're searching for happens to be over-priced Dupont brand Super Glue packaged in the guise as a "Clear Coat Scratch Repair Stick" for automobile finishes, have at it.

I got the 3 pack from Costco thinking it may work on the long clear coat scratches I have going along the side of my car from sticks rubbing in the woods. Now it looks like I used nail polish to try to paint the scratches! Now I have to figure out how to remove this junk and find a product that will actually give me professional results!

Bought the 3 pack at Costco. Tried it on some light scratches on my dark gray Tundra. Big mistake. I followed the directions and wiped off the excess which just smears the product all over the area and it DOES NOY COME OFF. I am beyond angry and will be bringing legal action against Dupont for damages and false advertising.

Dryes to shiny, applicator is crap, too much comes out at once so it gets all over. Draws more attention to the scratches. DO NOT POLISH CAR!!!! A few washes after applying this product I polished my baby, every place I had aplyed this crap stands out like a soar thumb. The application sites are VERY noticeable, even from quite a few feet away. Picktures have been taken and a formal letter of complaint will be sent to DuPont very shortly. This product is not suitable for use on any car. Dosent even deserve one star.

It's impossible to wipe off the excess with a cloth and it smears the paint without fixing any scratches. People who buy it should file a law suit against Dupont!

This product makes scratches look worse. It appears to disolve the clearcoat and/or paint like nail polish remover with the intent of filling in the scratch. However, anything it touches will look like melted, globby paint. Instead of having a scratch, you will have a stripped stripe of discolored, bubbly ugliness that is far more noticeable. I regret using this product, and hope that it is pulled off the market.

Horrible product made the minor scratch on my door much worse. The "after" picture on the packaging is misleading - even after carefully following the instructions (which are different on the package than on the pen, by the way), the repair is more noticeable and looks worse than what I started with., requiring a trip to the body shop to get the "fix" fixed (somewhat, that is). Save yourself the trouble and money and do not buy.
