Great project, sturdy birdhouse.
This birdhouse was wonderful. It's easy to put together (instructions were very clear), the pieces all fit with no trouble at all and it is very sturdy when put together. I have sanded all the pieces (be careful with the small pieces as they can break if you're not careful) and have put it together so I can pick and chose paint color. I plan on taking it back apart,...

A House is Not a Kit
This recent purchase arrived yesterday. To my surprise, it is a kit and not a house and is unpainted. My fault for not reading the tiny print on the picture of the box. I have a backyard bird in need of a home so I will have to order another birdhouse. Very disappointed.

This birdhouse was wonderful. It's easy to put together (instructions were very clear), the pieces all fit with no trouble at all and it is very sturdy when put together. I have sanded all the pieces (be careful with the small pieces as they can break if you're not careful) and have put it together so I can pick and chose paint color. I plan on taking it back apart, painting, waterproofing (spray sealer) and then putting it back together- using waterproof wood glue.It makes a great project for a few nights. I highly recommend it. It's great.
