Product Description

Columns feature a built-in length of deactivated fused silica tubing. This deactivated fused silica and the analytical column are made of a continuous piece with no press fit connectors, eliminating problems with installation hassles and leaks associated with unions. They also provide aids in focusing the sample onto the front of the column for better peak shape. This design minimizes front-end contamination of the column, minimizes the amount of mass selective detector (MSD) source contamination originating from the column, increases the life of the column, and aids in focusing the sample onto the front end of the column for excellent peak shape. Ordering Information: Any DB polysiloxane or low bleed phase can be made as a DuraGuard column with 0.18mm I.D. or larger fused silica tubing. Contact your eGM sales representative for more information.
