The DuraShield 14-foot to 16-foot Universal Aluminum Fishing Boat Cover is a durable, weatherproof, premium marine cover made of heavy 300 denier polyester.
This cover features a snug-fit elastic hem and double-stitched seams. Other premium features include breathable, water-resistant, and UV coated materials to keep your boat dry and out of harmful UV rays.
We include 3 under straps, 3 over straps, and 2 rear straps with click fit ends to secure your cover on the road or for indoor or outdoor storage. A mesh storage bag that allows the cover to drain and dry is provided with this cover.
**This cover is not intended to cover an outboard motor.

for what this costs its working great as a winter cover, it stays waterproof (it rains sometimes here in the northwest) keeps crud out (the boat is parked under a tree) and breaths enouogh not to mold.

I couldn't believe how fast they shipped out this boat cover. I believe I ordered it on a Sunday and received it on Tuesday. Well worth paying shipping for. It is a really nice cover for the money.

Apparently your mileage may vary on this product. As a waterproof boat cover it didn't work for me. Water simply permeates the fabric and drips into the boat.
In addition, the fabric doesn't 'breathe' so water got and in the lack of airflow overtime created a mold that covered most of the inside of the boat. The varnish on my boat deck failed (I think) because the wet fabric was constantly in contact with it.
Because of all the tie-downs it comes with, It works reasonably well as a cover for the plastic tarp that is keeping my boat dry...

Perhaps a more important issue for me is that I have been trying to leave this review on the DuraShield web site (there are currently 4 reviews there for this item, all 5-star), however their system states that the review has been recieved and will be going through 'moderation'. Apparently it never makes it out of moderation. I have left the above review twice. Any company that will not display fair but unfavorable reviews is not a company that I would ever do business with again. If you feel like I do, then I advise you to stay away from this product and this company.

Using as storage cover
Bought this to cover my Sunfish sailboat for winter storage. Not an exact fit, but plenty of loops to accommodate bungies and cords. No problem during short trailering trip.

Great cover ....BUT...
This is a great cover BUT i wish there was some Instructions in the package , a little confusing, but i will figure it out.
