The sleeve was as decribed, however, it is really too small for the Aspire One with a 6-cell battery. I suspect that it would fit the 3-cell perfectly - wish the ad would have specified. If you're looking for a simple neoprene sleeve like this one for the 6-cell, I advise the XDS9 from CaseLogic. It's marketed for 7"-9" DVD players and doesn't give all the color options, but for just a couple more bucks it fits the AAO with 6-cell perfectly!

I bought this sleeve for my AAO w/6cell battery.

The sleeve has stood up to the abuse of being in a backpack with spiral notebooks and textbooks every day so far. It is indeed durable, however, if you have a 6cell battery, as I do, then the sleeve just barely fits. It is a tight fit and as such the corner of my AAO has torn a small hole at the opening. This is the only show of damage that the sleeve has sustained, and it is not because of the design of the sleeve. It was simply designed to fit the 3cell model perfectly. As such, this sleeve gets 4 stars. If they developed a model of this sleeve that fits the 6cell naturally, I would buy it with out a doubt.

I bought this case for my Acer Aspire One on Amazon because of the outstanding colors they have available, and I never found it in a store, and I liked the price. It offers adequate protection for my laptop, however it's a bit loose on the thing. I wish it fit a little snugger. The laptop slides around in it, other then that..great!!
