When I ordered my sleeve, I contacted the vendor to make sure that the sleeve would fit my 6 cell model. The rep told me that it would fit but would be a little snug. Not knowing exactly how snug that would be, I told them that if they didn't think the sleeve would tear or be damaged because it was snug, to continue with the order. They assured me it would be fine. The day the sleeve arrived, I got an email from the vendor stating that they accidentally sent me the wrong sleeve and that they were sending out the correct one the same day. The next day, the correct one arrived, mind you this a week earlier than Amazon stated I would likely receive it.

Turns out the sleeve fits perfectly. Not excessively snug at all. I'm not sure if this sleeve is different than the one pictured here, it looks the same. I purchased the black/red one. It's reversible. I later bought a Logitech Nano Laser Mouse and although it's a little bulky to store inside the sleeve, I can easily put the mouse inside the sleeve with the Aspire One inside. The AC adaptor and power cord will fit inside too, but it really becomes bulky at this point, and really you need a real case. IMO, the sleeve should be used to keep the fingerprints and scratches off the Aspire One, mine is Sapphire Blue. Putting other stuff inside keeps the sleeve from doing it's job of protecting the Aspire One, so resist the temptation!

If you're looking for decent protection for your 6 cell Aspire One, this is an excellent and cost effective product, and customer support is top notch. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I got my sleeve today for my acer. I have the 6 cells and had bought one from Target earlier that was too small. It fit perfect. Not too tight. I do wish it had an outside pocket that would hold a small mouse.

I purchased the case for my Acer Aspire One 6-cell. the case fits perfectly. It is just snug enough to provide good protection from scratches etc. Given that the case is only neoprene, this may not be a good choice if protection from bumps or drops is what you're looking for. I would look for a hard case if that is the case. I keep my AA1 in a padded briefcase, so the sleeve does a good job protecting it from scratches & such.

The only downside to the case is the horrible smell. It has a chemical/rubber odor that is quite overpowering. I decided to douse it with Febreze in the hopes that it might help, but it didn't. I've had it for about a week now, and the smell isn't quite so bad anymore. But at first I couldn't even keep it in the same room, it really is a powerful odor.

The sleeve fits my Acer Aspire One with extended battery perfectly. I'm very happy about this find.

A great product, I would recommend it to anyone that buys an Aspire One 6-cell.

This sleeve works very well for the Acer Aspire. The outside pocket is big enough to hold adapter cord if needed. It provides great protection. My only complaint about it is that on the inside there is a plastic double pocket that sticks to the Acer and keeps it from easily sliding in and out of the sleeve.

The neoprene sleeve for the Acer Aspire One 8.9'' is perfect! It is a bit loose but that is ok, I don't mind the extra room. I love the thickness, the lightness in weight, and the durability; it makes taking my lap-top with me more convenient whether it is around campus, around town or anywhere else I need to go. Thanks!

This sleeve case works really well. I have the larger size battery and it accommodates it very well. I ordered the purple and it is beautiful!

I ordered orange sleeve. Fits my Acer with 6-cell battery perfectly. Its bright and I can easily see it, regardless how dark is inside my bag or my car, or pretty much any place. It add almost no extra weight or thickness. But, it stinks like someone poured a cup of gasoline inside it. Hopefully the smell will wear off over time.

Wasn't sure this was going to do the trick for my wife's Acer One, but looks great and is very practical she can now slip this cover on and put it her backpack, purse or carry it around in the car.
