5.0 out of 5 stars Great Flashlight!!!
This thing is super bright! It's also pretty light for its size and the battery life is great. I just took this thing camping and really glad I did. Hope that helps!

This review is from: Duracell Daylite Tough 80-Lumens, 3-Watt LED Spotlight with 4-AA Alkaline Batteries (Health and Beauty)
I first purchased the Duracell Daylite AA and CR123 versions, and was so impressed with their brightness and build-quality that I decided to take a chance on the Spotlight version, even though there were no reviews yet.

It arrived yesterday, and I have mixed feelings about it. Unlike the other Daylite flashlights, this one's body is made completely out of plastic. That makes it light, but is also doesn't have the quality feel that the other Daylite AA and CR123 versions have. It's also slightly smaller than I expected. It is very bright, however. It looks like the lens has a magnifying glass to focus the beam (also plastic), and it does a really good job. Much better brightness than I expected knowing it runs off 4 AA batteries. The trigger is a little different from other spotlights I have; it's more of an on-off switch than a trigger. One pull turns the light on, and it stays on until you hit the switch again.

But for $29, I wish it felt a little more substantial. That's why it's only getting 3 stars. I'm not sure how it will handle the first drop to the floor. If it was $20, it would have gotten 4 stars. I suspect I'll use this light often, as it's very convenient to use. If the batteries last a long time, I may improve it to a 4-star rating. But I still feel like it is overpriced.
