Do NOT order these batteries from the merchant 'BIG DEAL!' They are not genuine Duracell batteries, but rather Chinese knock-offs, not in original Duracell packaging. The real batteries for Duracell are great though!

These are the real deal. Just like the pic. Two packs of 16. Dated MAR 2016.

This is a great deal. Store prices are much higher. I'm not sure about other reviewers who said they got knock off Duracell batteries - I received the real deal and I'm stocked at home for quite a while AND I saved money!

I ordered these around Christmas time and was lucky to get one of the two I ordered as Amazon sold out of these "2-packs". Just standard AAs nothing special there - but the price really can't be beat here as long as you have free shipping. Also, Amazon usually has a promotion going on for batteries where you get something like $10 off for buying $25 dollars or more - so that really sweetens the deal.

I ordered 2 packs of 16 batteries. What I got was 8 packs of batteries with 4 in each package. MADE IN CHINA. What a scam this seller is running. Wish I had read reviews before buying from this seller. package writting in both english and Chinese.This is not what I bought. What I bought is the picture shown of sale. A shady seller. Do hope Amazon reviews this. You would be shocked at the scam. PLEASE see the picture of what I got for my money.

Oh well I go through a lot of alkaline batteries and have found these to be of the highest caliber.

I did have some of those Duracell camera alkaline batteries and they leaked once destroying my mouse. That was a one time incident. The batteries leaked before they went dead which was not even 2 months.

I received these batteries but only 1 pack of 16 instead of the 32 and the package was pretty beat up. I haven't check the exp. date so i guess i should do that now... I buy ALOT of stuff from amazon and never had a problem until now so i did give a 2 star rating for this being the first time having a problem...

Duracell batteries are the best on the market. I don't buy anything else because I have to buy too many of them. They wear out. They do not keep going and going and going. But Duracells do.

My purchase from this venue was driven by the difficulty in finding them at the local office supply store. My purchase was fast, easy, and inexpensive. Great deal.

Duracell makes a great battery--just try these once and you'll see! You'll switch over to this brand as soon as you know how much more life you'll get out of these "CopperTop" batteries. I like these batteries in particular because I often travel by public transportation and I use my portable CD player to listen to music. They last longer than other brands of batteries did in my CD player. Of course, they can be used in anything that requires AA batteries as well.

The two 16 packs makes sure that you'll have a supply on hand for when you need more or for when the batteries you're using do wear out. That's very good.

Use these batteries before their expiration date. The expiration date will be several years off; but some people have them lying around, perhaps even in a dresser drawer. The problem is not only do the batteries lose their potency; they also begin to corrode. When the batteries corrode a sticky substance begins to leak out of them and this makes a mess--trust me! It's best if you store them in the reclosable storage pack in a dry place that's not too hot. The package also makes sure that the batteries don't get dusty or exposed to any elements if you're taking these along on a camping trip or traveling in general.

One safety note: Do NOT dispose of these or ever place these in or near a fire. They could explode!

Overall, these Duracell CopperTop AA size batteries are the ones you want if you need AA size batteries. I highly recommend them for any device that needs AA size batteries.

Duracell Battries is the leading battery manufacturer - and any wonder? It is the longest-lastiing batteries in my experience, outlasting the other major battery manufacturer - Energizer - and leaving everyone else (Ray-O-Vac, Panasonic, and Eveready, for example) in the dust.

I have a pack of these Energizer batteries ready for use as a backup source of power for my flashlights and other electronics in the event of a blackout or an emergency. I periodically replace my backup with a fresh pack since batteries have a limited shelf life and they drain even when you don't use them. Alkaline batteries in general have about a 5-year shelf life. They are best stored at room temperature and low humidity.

After these batteries are past their useful life in high drain devices such as cameras and camcorders, you can save them for use in your low drain devices such as clocks and remotes.

Better yet, to stretch your d0llar further, you can switch to recharageable batteries. Duracell sells these Pre-Charged NiMH Rechargeable Batteries. They are ready to be used right out of the package. You will, of course, need a battery recharger to recharge them once they've been drained.
