The box said guaranteed for 7 seven years, the picture shows 10 years.
There is no way for me to know if these are used or new batteries.
I do not recommend you order these.
I'm returning these and placed an order with Amazon as the actual vendor. I'll update after I receive the order.
Update: The new order for AA batteries actually sold by Amazon and not merely fulfilled by them arrived today. They are the correct batteries with the correct markings in the proper packaging. My batch expires in 2022.
I am updating my review as follows:
5 stars if Amazon is the actual merchant.
1 star if Amazon is shipping Utrusted's (got to love the irony) stock.
But then the leakage started to happen. Sometime around 1999 is when it started. All Duracell batteries have an expiration date. And it has been well known that they can even work past that expiration date, by even a few years. But even before that date is reached, the cell should not leak. I have come to discover about a dozen separate Duracell batteries leaking in my devices. And these are low drain devices too, like remote controls. I even had some in a prized Master Replica prop... which the Duracell batteries ended up damaging due to leakage. The caustic white/green powder would seep out of the bottom end of the cells and get everywhere.
I contacted Duracell about this problem. Their response? "We've never heard of this." And they sent me a few coupons as compensation. Well, I'm not the only one. I've since read about numerous complaints made about their batteries. It saddens me, as performance wise they are usually better than Energizers. But I just can't risk battery leakage any longer. It even happened with a cell having an expiration date as recent as 2014. DURACELL IS DEAD to me.

Works great, lasts a long time, nice to have more than just a couple so I don't run out. Wish they were rechargeable, but for what I bought, they are great. Came quickly, too.Published 4 days ago by allegro
