Duracell makes great batteries; and these batteries will show you just how good they are made once you try them. The "CopperTop" version of these AA size batteries really lasts noticeably longer than the AA batteries Duracell used to make. I really like this because I often travel by public transportation and I use my portable CD player to listen to music. I always get several hours more use out of these CopperTop Duracell AA batteries; and that's grand!

Believe it or not, the reclosable storage pack actually does close neat and clean for you so that the batteries remaining inside the package don't get dusty or exposure to any elements if you're outside camping or something.

The 12 pack offers value, too; and that's important in these expensive times!

Use these batteries before their expiration date. The expiration date will always be several years into the future; but some people still have them lying around in a dresser drawer anyway. The problem is not only do they lose their potency; the batteries also begin to corrode. When the batteries corrode eventually a whitish powdery sticky substance begins to leak out of them and this makes a mess--trust me!

Do NOT dispose of these or ever place these in or near a fire. They could literally explode. I wouldn't carry them loose either--they should be protected in their cardboard case or they should be already installed in your portable CD player, your flashlight or whatever device you placed them into.

Overall, these Duracell CopperTop AA size batteries are the ones to choose if you need AA size batteries. I highly recommend them for any device that needs AA size batteries.

Bottom-Line: If you need a long lasting battery at a reasonable price, you can't go wrong with the "Duracell "AA" Sized Alkaline 1.5v Battery."

Let's face it, there is an ever increasing number of gadgets and other electronic equipment that need "AA" sized batteries to operate: penlight flashlights, remotes, MP3 players, wireless keyboard & mice, digital cameras, portable GPS devices; well you get the picture. In a bid to save money on batteries and, well, lower my carbon footprint, I switched to re-chargeable batteries, but they proved unequal to the task(s) at hand, so I switched to Duracell Coppertop "AA" Sized Alkaline 1.5v Battery's in a bid for longer lasting power.

The Duracell "AA" Sized Alkaline 1.5v Battery is a 1.5 volt alkaline battery designed to deliver dependable long lasting power for all matter of portable devices. I purchase my batteries at the local grocery store where the prices tend to be a little lower, and of course I always have a coupon or two handy. But, or course, they are available just about everywhere. In addition to the above mentioned uses, I also use the batteries in a portable voice recorder/Cassette, which takes two. Under normal everyday usage (2-3 hours a day) I can expect to get about three months of usage from the batteries in my wireless mouse.

If you need a long lasting battery at a (somewhat) reasonable price, you can't go wrong with the Duracell "AA" Sized Alkaline 1.5v Battery.

Not much can be said except that this is a great deal on very superior batteries. If you are looking for a better deal, you won't find one! A+++

Wow! This 12 pack of duracell batteries is the best 12 pack of batteries I ever bought! They really powered up the CD player! I'll be sure to buy more when these run out!

I ordered 2 packages with 12 batteries each. They shipped 6 packages of 4 batteries and 1 pack of 2 batteries. Great deal on orginal product. I had a concern and JR responded immediately.

I would have paid twice the price in the store than what I paid on Amazon. I am happy that it arrived so quickly, I was suprised! I just opened them up this morning and are using them!

I purchased this item to be in one package of 12 and it came in three packages of 4. Sorry but I like to get what I saw (purchased) online!

They are batteries and they do what you would want them to do and usually longer then other batteries.

I ordered 2 12 pack resealable AA battery packs. I received 4, 6 pack blister packs. I got no notification of a product alteration. The batteries are fine, the expiration dates are 2012, but I have to deal w/ 4 packs instead of 2 neat sealable containers. Petty, I know, but I wanted what I ordered...
