I have purchased mainly name brand batteries over the years due in large part of the reliability of the product. I have to be able to depend on the batteries during Guard missions as we are required to purchase our own equipment since we are unpaid volunteers. Further, I have seen others buy cheaper batteries and then find out that they were only good for 50%. Duracell and Energizer have never let me down and I am always in radio communication and my lights are always bright from the first battery to the last battery in each pack for ten years now.

Lot's of batteries at a very low price. I wish the package had an expiration date, but I tested them and they are all fully charged!

Having lost a 3 cell Maglite to corroded batteries I decided to check my other flashlights. Of the other 3 there were 2 which had started to corrode, having use by dates of Dec 2012. The last flashlight was bright and the use by date was Sept 2000. That's correct the batteries were 11 years old. And they were Duracell Copper Tops. So
needless to say that's why I purchased these excellent batteries.

Live in foothills. After going through 3 days of no power and new storm coming, looked for D batteries and they were all sold out. Like the convenience of having enough and the price was right at Amazon!

Maybe Costco's batteries are cheaper - but they're not duracell and I would have had to pay for tax.

Can't believe what a great price these were! I meant to buy some "D" cells for the 3D Cell Maglite I bought. And they did a bundle deal for "D" + "AA" + "AAA". And I'm all stocked up on "AA" already. So it allowed me to modify the deal for just the "D" and "AAA"! I needed "AAA" for all the little 3 AAA LED flashlites I have all over the place.

With a new baby in the house, D batteries are essential! The swing, the glider, the bouncy seat, the musical crib toy all needed D batteries! Although they may not be much cheaper, you don't have to pay for tax. It's also quite convenient to have them delivered directly to your door, since this mommy doesn't get out of the house too often!

I originally purchased a recurring order including 2 sets of D Size batteries to refill various items around the house. Amazon has now provided a set of 1. Now you have to order 2 of these to match the original order, and at a higher price. I should have just cancelled the order.

These are brand-new Duracell D batteries, not much to add to that. You get two packs of 8, so 16 batteries for just about the price of 8.
