As with most USB drives, however, the size quoted can be confusing. The advertising for this product chooses to define 4GB differently than most computers do... they define it as 4 billion bytes, as opposed to the computer definition, which is based on 1Kilobyte = 1024 bytes, and 1 gigabyte = 1024^3 bytes. Who cares? Well, if you plug this unit into your PC and look at the space available, Windows will list it as 3.81 GB, not 4 GB, and if you have a file that takes up 4GB it won't fit on this drive.
