I never thought there was a difference between batteries until I bought a house and had little ones, which led me to start going through them a lot faster. I used to buy from costco all the time and finally got fed up with changing them every few weeks with regular use, or every few months with no use at all. I had a gun safe that kept having it's internal battery die on me. I thought it was a problem with the safe but learned from the owner of the safe company that the Kirkland batteries just don't compare to Duracell. I tried Duracell and have never looked back -- things last forever and I no longer have an issue picking up a remote or using an alkaline flashlight only to find it's gone dead without use.

Having purchased the consumer copper top (plastic wrapped) version for a while, I switched to Procell and have found no difference in performance. The procells store a lot easier due to the block packaging.

Need one box? Buy two!

I just received the batteries. The price was right and no-name batteries suck.

The purpose of the review is to let potential buyers know that the batteries had
excellent 2020 dates. The batteries come in a small box with 6 - 4pks inside which
is a benefit to typical packaging that once opened, you need to plastic bag 'em.

Light research on my part reveal that the quality and lifetime of these batteries is better than the run of the mill the two popular brands found in local stores. Also, in the end, cheaper. Very happy with these, have been using them for several years.

I was looking for a great deal on batteries to use at our auto repair facility and these really fit the bill. Especially with Amazon what a great battery and experience. You dont have to deal with the frustrating packaging of regular batteries and they have lasted quite some time. Highly recommended

I often buy Duracell batteries at stores and pay ridiculous prices and they don't last as long as I would want them to. I work at a hospital and they purchase Duracell Procell batteries through a warehouse company and I find those batteries to last the longest of any of Duracell's batteries or any other batteries on the market. So I decided to purchase some AAA Duracell Procell batteries online and they work great, last long, and are even cheaper than buying those expensive store batteries.

Im not sure if they last any longer than the regular ones, but they seem to do very well.

I also like that they come in individual packs of 4. Easy to take on the go or put a few in your purse, glove box or what have you.

I will buy these each time I need batteries without hesitation.

Why pay more for the Duracell Coppertop batteries in smaller packages when these perform just as well? Suffice it to say, they last every bit as long and the price is definitely right!

I go through AA batteries pretty quickly, so I ordered a gross instead of just one box of 24. I was very pleased with these batteries. I'd read stories about short counts (Most of our unopened Procells at work are short a box of 4) and short shelf life. I received a full count of 144 (5 boxes of 24); I counted them individually! The "use before" date on all of them is March 2017. (The Procells at work have an expiration date March 2016 -- a year earlier.)

A few of the outer boxes had minor crush areas; a side of one of these outer boxes wasn't glued very well. Some of the inner boxes (holding 4 AA batteries) had minor crushed corners. All the batteries appeared undamaged.

I had to use a knife to open the outer packaging. The five inner boxes were very well packed inside another sleeve, within the outer sleeve!

Overall, very pleased at this point. If my opinion changes as I use them, I'll revise this review.
