Not worth it.,

I have had the Duracell Powerpack 500 for about two years now. It recently stopped holding a charge and is now worthless. For the past two years the powerpack has performed sub-par. The power goes out in my house about once a month. I use the powerpack to plug in a lamp. At full charge the powerpack lasts for about an hour to an hour and a half. The jump starterDuracell Powerpack Digital Voice 500 Watt Powerpack Inverter & Jumpstarter is weak at best. At full charge you can rarely get a battery jumped. Very disappointed in the product. I was hoping it would be able to run at least a lamp and small tv at the same time but with two items plugged into the battery, you would get about 15 minutes of run time at a full charge. My suggestion is if you are going to go camping, prepare to lug this heavy battery with you for little value.

I had a prior version of this battery pack and this one has more safty feature and appears to be more durable. Having this battery pack really comes in handy around the house, but also camping and with many car problem issues you might have.
