this is a miracle product! My cat has been suffering from skin allergies and chronic respiratory issues for years. I suspect she has FHV-1. She had dry scaly patches on her skin and always had a sinus infection..after multiple cortisone shots over a few years, i discovered that cortisone helps the virus replicate and I wasnt really helping her. And her skin was so bad, she ripped her fur out so much she was bald in many places..

After 2 weeks, her breathing improved, she grew her fur back and her dry patches were fewer in number. She was a runt and I rescued her from a less than savory place so I knew she would have issues. But this is the best stuff...better than the other lysine products ans she seems to like the taste which is a miricle b/c shes is terribly picky!

You cant go wrong with this stuff! It made my kitty feel better and put me at ease knowing Im helping her without harsh steroids and expensive Dr. visits!

I received good, quick service and the product arrived as described. Even though I ordered it right before the holidays, it still arrived very quickly. My cat loves the taste and he'll lick it right off the syringe, which makes it much easier! I would definitely recommend it. The only negative that I could say is that with the way the notches are set up, it isn't precise how much you're giving, but since it's a supplement, you can give about 1 or 2ml no problem.

I have purchased these paste type medications and supplements before for other conditions and my cats will never touch it so I have to smear it on their paw so they have no choice but to lick it off and I always feel guilty. But they licked this off my finger and came back for more! Two of my cats (the ones who really needed it) seemed to really like it. My 3rd cat didn't have any interest so I smeared it on his paw and he licked it right off and it didn't seem to be too unpleasant to him. You can also mix it in wet food and they don't seem to notice it is even there.

One of my cats was just diagnosed with vaccine related fibrosarcoma and the oncologist recommended it for inflammation and said it could slightly slow down the tumor growth. I have already been giving my cats lysine for years and it is like a miracle product. I think everyone should give their cats lysine on a regular basis for allergies, herpes related eye issues and to ward off upper respiratory issues. The MicroLactin is for inflammation and reducing inflammation can be good for so many conditions. One of my cats has asthma and allergies so I am hoping it will help her as well. It also contains Omega 6&3 fatty acids.

I purchased the Duralactin capsules also (from Amazon) and I mix it in their wet food and they do not seem to know it is in their food either. So if for some reason your kitty will not eat this voluntarily and you have to smear it on their paw to lick off, there is the option of getting the capsules, too. You just open the capsule and pour the powder in their food. I tasted it myself and it has no taste so this should work for just about any kitty.

I purchased this from my vet's office for $19.64 with tax so I decided to get on Amazon to see if I could find a better price and I can get TWO tubes of it for LESS than the price of one including shipping! I plan to give this to my cats regularly so I will be stocking up on it from Amazon!

It is easy to despense and George likes it and eats it unlike the pellets. George seems to be doing better. It could well be the Duralactin.

Herbie was diagnosed with early stage kidney failure. He's my heart cat. I couldn't love him more. The vet put him on this (plus special diet food) and the improvement in him is absolutely wonderful. I am truly hoping that this prolongs the time I have with him. I think it will.

The product is way over packaged which only adds to the cost. It is not as concentrated as some L-Lysine powder that we have used but I was hoping for better acceptance of this. That said, we do a lot for our pets and if my cat liked it and if it worked, I would be OK with the cost ... I think. The problem was that she didn't really like it initially. Well, she seems to have gotten used to it and now it is very easy to add to her wet food. Still over packaged but she likes it and needs the L-Lysine one way or another for her immune system, therefore it gets a thumbs up from me. Anything that gets this into her system with the least amount of trauma for her is worth it.

When our kitty gets to sneezing and watery eyes this L-lysine seems to really help him. It is much cheaper here than thru Vet plus Vet ask for visit as well before selling.
